Brook Stores has been an integral part of the St Maurice community for some 50 years. In October 2014 ownership changed to Sharon and Peter, who are hands on in the day to day running of the shop (along with their son Conor). The front of the shop has had a face lift recently, and they have their own Facebook page which is used to advertise promotions and news/information.  

Their aim has always been to stock a wide and varied range of products, and too use local suppliers wherever possible. They are also determined to remain a totally independent retailer, which allows them to source the most competitive prices on their product ranges and pass these savings onto the local residents.

• Foods (including fresh, frozen and snacks)

• Greengrocery (delivered twice a week from a local supplier)

• Breads (delivered daily) 

• Milk,Cream & Butters (from Trewithen Dairy in Cornwall & delivered daily)

• Tobacco & Cigarettes (including electronic cigarettes and e-liquids)

• Confectionery (including a Pick n Mix sweet section for the kids)

• Pasties & Cakes (from Pilgrim Bakery in Plymouth)

• Ice Creams

• Slush Drinks

• PayPoint (bill payments, mobile phone top ups etc)
